What You Need to Know Before Taking a Disney Cruise

Disney cruises are unlike any other cruises. There is simply a magic that can't be captured by any other cruise line. So what do you need to now before taking a Disney Cruise?

1)Sail-A-Wave Party-Every Disney cruise starts with a Sail-A-Wave party, where you can dance along wth you favorite characters to celebrate the cruise kicking off. These parties are so much fun, and really set the tone for the cruise. I highly recommend attending.

2)Dining- Disney cruise line does something called roational dining, where you are assigned restaurants in a certain order every night. For example, if I had dinner at Animator's Palate, Enchanted Garden, and Royal Court three nights in a row, the next three nights would be the same. The menu changes if you attend a restaurant more than once. If you you don't want to eat at the assigned dining restaurants, there are restaurants that are an upcharge. Also, if you do the rotational dining, you have the same server every night.

3)Castaway Cay- Basically every Disney cruise stops at Castaway Cay, Disney's private island. Castaway Cay has a family beach and an adult beach. There are so many activies to do, such as snorkeling, bicycling, and parasailing. There's also the Castaway Cay 5k, for my runners out there. Lunch is BBQ at Cookie's or Cookie's Too.

4) Pirate's Night- Every Disney cruise has something called pirate's night. Many of the guests dress up, but you don't have to. All of the guests recieve complimentary bandanas. The restaurants also have a special pirates night menu. There is also a fun "Pirates in the Carribean' show and fireworks.

I hope this inspired you to take a Disney Cruise or helped you out if you have one planned! If you want more Disney advice, please subscribe :)
